"I am so grateful to have been able to join this amazing group that I call my Brothers. Being involved in Theta Tau has played an integral part in my personal and professional growth during my time in Davis. The one thing that never ceases to amaze me is how this fraternity is able to create such strong bonds between Brothers. To all my Brothers, I hope you never stop believing in the potential of who you can become, and that you always give all that you can to whatever you find yourself directing your passion and drive towards! If you fall short, don't become disheartened. Learn from your mistakes and keep pushing forward towards the best versions of yourselves!"
Daniel Shing, an electrical engineering alumnus, was the past regent of Theta Tau. He loves playing tennis, and has been playing avidly after fully recovering from an injury to his ACL. His male celebrity crush is Hugh Jackman, especially in Logan. Daniel, thank you for helping the fraternity flourish during your time here; your legacy will continue to live on. We will miss you!

“I went to community college hoping to one day become an electrical engineer. Staying behind at home, juggling work and school, and having my best friends across the country for two years was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do, but in the end, it granted me the life-changing opportunity to join Theta Tau at UC Davis. Here, I found an incredible group of engineers that I am proud to call my brothers.”
Christian Setiawan, Vice Regent of Theta Tau, is a fourth-year electrical engineer currently working at the Department of Defense in a semiconductor fabrication laboratory. In his free time, he also enjoys dropping freestyles, playing drums, cooking steak, driving his car Eugene, playing TagPro, and watching cute raccoon videos.
